Tiffany Steelman, FNP-BC
Tiffany Steelman earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and continued her education at Vanderbilt University, graduating as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC).
She spent 12 years working in family practice and internal medicine before joining Rheumatology Associates of East Tennessee (now Articularis Rheumatology Specialists) in 2019. Her interest in rheumatology was sparked during her time in internal medicine, where she recognized the profound impact rheumatic diseases have on a patient’s quality of life. Motivated by a desire to provide better patient care, she chose to specialize in rheumatology where she focuses on combating the many symptoms of rheumatic conditions through disease-modifying medications, joint injections for acute symptom relief, and lifestyle modifications, including personalized dietary and exercise recommendations.
Tiffany is an active member of the Rheumatology Advanced Practice Providers, the Association of Women in Rheumatology, and the Tennessee Rheumatology Society. Outside of her professional life, Tiffany enjoys staying active through working out, spending quality time with her husband and two children, and participating in her local church community.
