Renée Peterkin-McCalman, M.D.

Dr. Peterkin-McCalman received her medical degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine and later went on to complete her internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA.

She also holds a Masters of Public Health degree from Georgia State University. She enjoys teaching fellows and hosting monthly journal clubs for rheumatologists in the Augusta area.

Dr. Peterkin-McCalman volunteers with the Augusta Dream Center Medical Team to provide monthly outreach to underserved communities. Her clinical interests lie in general rheumatology and she is passionate about making a difference in her patients’ lives.
