Courtney Sellers, PA-C

Courtney, a native of Atlanta, is delighted to be practicing just a few miles from her hometown after spending several years away. She earned her undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and a Bachelor of Science in dietetics and nutrition science, from the University of Georgia. After spending time rotating as a medical assistant, Courtney continued her education at Mercer University to become a physician assistant.

Following graduation, Courtney relocated to Gainesville, Florida, to participate in the University of Florida’s PA residency in primary care, affiliated with Malcom Randall VA Hospital and UF Shands Hospital. Upon completing her residency, she returned to Atlanta, initially working in family medicine in West Paces before transitioning to a psychiatry practice in Dunwoody.

Courtney is most interested in the management of chronic disease and allowing patients to live the lives they want to live – whether that is with disease modifying medications, joint injections for acute symptom relief, or lifestyle medications with specific dietary and exercise recommendations — her goal is to make sure her patients have the best possible outcome, in the holistic view.

Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, reading, walking and spending time with her dog Blanche.  She supports and volunteers for a few different dog rescues and shelters in Atlanta.
